Just Ask

Tuesday: (02/10) Fresh apricot cobbler from our apricot tree and Lou's efforts for breakfast. We relaxed in camp much of the morning including a visit to the butterfly grove. Today was quite warm and the butterflies were in a mating frenzy. They wont be here much longer. These butterflies have been around for about seven months and  now its time for the next generation to soon start the migration North and after four generations a batch will be returning back to the grove. Amazing. Ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch. We've noticed many people passing on the trail across from our camp site pointing as they look our way. I've thought this was people seeing our raised solar panels and commenting to their fellow hikers about them. It turns out that is probably true. Today two sets of them came over and ask about how it works and such. Of course, it doesn't take long for me to tell them all I know. For more information though, look at my article on the electrical system.  Then we headed for San Luis Obispo after lunch. We stopped at the bicycle store to check on the Zappy Pro. Still not in. Then we headed over to the San Luis Obispo Arboretum and also stopped at the Cal Poly University Arboretum. Both looking lovely. Another visit to a thrift store and a market and we returned to Pismo Beach. Dinner at the Pismo Fish and Chips again. I spent much of the evening watching Penn and Teller magic on Youtube.
