Thursday: (09/01) Lou was off to an appointment in the morning. We were on the road by 1030. We stopped for lunch at the Golden Corral, per usual.
A stop at the cheese factory in Escalon, California was fun. We enjoyed the house cat, their goats, and the koi. We also toured an antique shop.
While there I reserved our room in Sonora. We stayed at the Inn Of California there. At 1600, all settled in, we strolled the old town area looking at shops before they closed. We enjoyed dinner at a Mexican restaurant on the patio by a creek. For some reason we were all tired and asleep by 2000.
