Eureka Waterfront Trail Hike

Saturday: (05/12) We headed off to Winco Market to do our grocery shopping. Dawn and I had store burritos for breakfast. After a rest and some showers, Lou and Dawn were off to garage sales. They dropped me off at Pierson’s Hardware where I looked around before taking a hike. I walked about a mile south on the highway shoulder to Pond Road and went out to the Waterfront Trail to hike back toward town. A paved trail but a nice walk along the Elk River and bay. I ended up at the Mall again and shortly after starting to look around Sportsman’s Warehouse Dawn called and they came to pick me up. Lou made hamburgers for dinner. After dinner, we walked up to the Humboldt Cidery for a drink.
