Sunday: (05/12) Pancakes and sausage for breakfast. I took the Jeep and drove back to Red Canyon for a hike.
I combined several of the trails into a 7.1 miles, 2409 foot climb hike with a 782 foot elevation change.
A nice hike with interesting scenery.
An interesting round rock of about 10 feet diameter on a 1 foot pedestal. What keeps it there? The steps on a part of the Buckhorn Trail
Some of the trial is along some slippery ridges providing quite a thrill. My lunch was tuna salad and crack snacks on the trail. Lou and Dawn stopped by a local cafe for liver and onions. The intent was to take Lou out to dinner but the BBQ place she wanted to go to was closed on Sunday so she took a ran check. Dinner was leftover spaghetti and a green salad.
