Friday: (03/28) I stopped at Jack In The Box for a breakfast sandwich before heading down to Los Gatos to meet Jack Borok at 0845 to commute to Santa Cruz for a hike at Pogonip Preserve near downtown.
My San Jose Mid-week Hikers Meetup Group enjoyed a nice hike through the second growth redwoods, by the rock garden and lime kilns and past the old polo grounds led by our host Bob Rollin. Interesting place.
A nice view of the Monterey Bay from Pogonip. After the hike several of us went to Vasilis Greek Restaurant for lunch. Excellent Gyros. I was back in Palo Alto by 1500. Lou and Dawn had appointments earlier today and this afternoon. For dinner we went out to dinner at Chili’s Restaurant.
