Lou hiking up the hill in Upper Bidwell Park. We started our hike along Chico Creek.
This bird nesting in a woodpecker hole in the tree seemed concerned with our visit.

Horseshoe Lake from near the top of the hill. The City of Chico in the distance. Lou hiking down the trail from the top. Calling this a trail embellishes the truth. It's more of a worn spot on the side of the hill. We started down at the top of those rocks above Lou to the left. The trail involved sliding down over lots of rocks.
