Fort Worden CG, Port Townsend, WA

Friday: (10/07) Eggs potatoes and sausage for breakfast. We hooked up and headed South toward Tacoma then caught highway 16 past Bremerton to Port Townsend.

Fort Worden Campsite
We checked in to the Fort Worden Campground. We weren't able to get a beach front view site so we took a site in the woods. We had olive loaf panini sandwiches for lunch.

Downtown Port Townsend
We explored downtown Port  Townsend, one of the nicest, intact old towns we've visited. Wonderful old brick and rock buildings. We stopped in a nursery and Lou bought a plant for the table. It's a succulent so we probably won't kill it until we get home and it's planted in our succulent garden. On our walk around town we walked out to the marina and discovered that there are RV sites available there with great views of the bay. We're going to move there tomorrow if a space is available that we like. For dinner we had leftover spaghetti.
