Lost Dutchman State Park, Arizona

Wednesday: We rose early and left Walmart's heading into the traffic abyss of Phoenix. Traffic wasn't bad at all but I can't say the same for the street signs. We seemed to always be in the wrong lane after following the advise of a signs that were incorrect or confusing. Anyway, we arrived at Lost Dutchman State Park at the Superstition Mountains. We're just relaxing today. Tomorrow, we'll take a hike around looking for the lost mine. I hope we're lucky!
Thursday: Too bad, no luck.

We hiked the Siphon Draw Trail this morning. It's an interesting "trail". Actually, much of it is just scrambling over rocks as you get higher. Couldn't locate the mine. I really liked the trail blaze marks, the happy face.
We had dinner at the Mining Camp Restaurant nearby. Good grub.
