Monday: (08/15) Next we visited the Creamer wildlife refuge and watched the cranes and visited the old farm house.
Lots of cranes just standing around.
Years ago they took over the pastures at this old dairy.
We hiked around the old dairy pastures to the Wild Bird Observatory.The lawn was being mowed so no birds were to be seen other than the many stuffed (deaf) birds inside.
For dinner we stopped at Sam's Sourdough restaurant again. I had fish and chips and Lou and Dawn had corn chowder and mini loaf bread. We came home and visited Pioneer park for the concert again but weren't interested in the music so toured the Nenana Steamboat until it closed. We enjoyed a mostly sunny day today and no rain.
