Next we were off to visit the muskoxen at the large animal research center.
We visited the botanical gardens at the University of Alaska. Above, not really a flower but the kale and cabbage plants, in addition to being huge are nice decorative plants as well.
The flowers at the gardens were really nice. How they do they do it with such a short growing season is really amazing.

Lunch was cheese and crackers at the garden.
