The Alcan highway from the Beaver Creek to Destruction Bay is reported to be the worst section of the road. There were lots of frost heaves and they did go on for 60 miles but the road is not really bad if you just slow down. We stopped in Destruction Bay for gas and lunch at the lodge. We had bacon and cheese veal burgers with fries which were pretty good. We stopped at the Kluane NP Visitor Center to watch some mountain sheep. We turned off the Alcan Highway at Haines Junction and headed toward Haines.

We stopped at the Million Dollar Water Fall CG for the night. The Canadian parks are really nice. We enjoyed a nice long campfire using their free firewood. For dinner Lou made super nachos. Really it was a nice bean, cheese, sausage, with onions dip for corn chips.
