PCT Hike, MM 2236 - 2248, Riley Creek

Thursday: (08/07) Only made 11.5 miles today. Late start, washing socks, took an incorrect trail for  a half mile out and return, and just BEING SLOW. Most of the trail today was through a burned area. The burned forest is still beautiful with lots of wild flowers and huckleberries. Camped at MM 2248 by a lake just before Riley Creek. Rewind came in after I had turned in, a northbound through hiker had hiked in by moon light. I met him her in the morning.
